Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Management Board of Gazprom and Artem Obolensky, General Director of RusGasDobycha signed an Agreement on the main conditions to execute the joint project aimed to develop Parusovoe, Noth-Parusovoe and Semakovskoe gas fields located at the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area premises.
The Agreement defines general principles and conditions for the parties cooperation, including the procedure for the project’s Final Investment Decision, price formation methods for hydrocarbons produced and the project financing structure.
During preparatory phase it is planned to establish a project-made company that will prepare justification of the investment for the fields development and construction of transportation infrastructure. In addition to that, the company will perform FEED and develop design & engineering documentation for the project. The decision on feasibility of further execution of the project will be based on the results of the above.
In 2006 Gazprom dobycha Yamburg, LLC, a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom, obtained the production license for the Parusovoe and Nort-Parusovoe fields. The Parusovoe fields group is located close to the existing infrastructure of the Yamburg oil, gas and condensate field.
